1966 Dexter 'Swamp Gas' UFO Sighting

On March 20, 1966, the Mannor family watched a UFO hover over their swamp for 4 hours. Dozens of police officers and neighbors witnessed it. The next night, 87 residents at Hillsdale College watched flashing lights over the Arboretum for 3+ hours. Air Force consultant J. Allen Hynek's 'swamp gas' explanation caused a national uproar. Congressman Gerald Ford demanded a Congressional investigation. A landmark event in UFO history.
