Boot Hill Cemetery

Tombstone's famous cemetery holds 250 burials — most of them violent deaths from 1878 to 1884, the height of Tombstone's wild years. 'Hanged' and 'Shot' are the most common entries in the cause-of-death column. Three sections of the cemetery — the Chinese section, the town's outcasts, and the gunfighters — each generate distinct paranormal signatures. A Chinese spirit in traditional dress is seen near the segregated Chinese graves; a group of rough men in cowboy hats are photographed near the gunfighter section. Orbs cluster most densely over unmarked graves.
