Mysterious Phenomenon Extreme Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
Cherokee legend and documented reports since 1771 describe glowing orbs that rise above Brown Mountain in the Blue Ridge foothills. The lights have been investigated by the US Geological Survey twice (1913 and 1922), both studies concluding the lights were real but unexplained.
