Castillo de San Marcos

The oldest masonry fort in the continental US (1695) has had hundreds of documented paranormal encounters. A Spanish officer and his wife who disappeared in 1833 — with their bodies found walled up inside a sealed room — are the most frequently reported entities. The room where they were found still registers cold spots and the smell of orange perfume.
