History & Paranormal Activity
Al Capone's former prison is one of America's most documented haunted sites. Inmates described apparitions from its first years of operation (1829). Today's visitors report cackling faces in Cellblock 12, shadow figures in the guard tower, and visforme ghostly figures in Cellblock 6. Gary Johnson, a locksmith working here in 1991, described being pulled backward by shadowy hands.
