Custer's last posting before the Little Bighorn, where his wife Libbie saw a ghostly procession of soldiers marching into the sky the morning he left — which she interpreted as a death omen. The reconstructed blockhouses and Custer House are documented paranormal sites, with apparitions of soldiers and a woman in the upstairs bedroom of the commander's house.
