History & Paranormal Activity
This 1834 coastal fort served in three wars and was the site of a significant Civil War battle. Rangers report a Confederate soldier seen at the embrasures at sunset, doors opening against the wind, and footsteps in the casemates after closing. The prison cells in the lower level are particularly active.
