Fort Pulaski
Savannah
Historic Site Moderate Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
This massive coastal fort was the site of a decisive Civil War bombardment and held Confederate prisoners in horrible conditions. Park rangers report a Confederate officer who appears at sunset near the moat, and investigators consistently record EVPs in the casemates, particularly in the cells where prisoners carved their names into the brick.
