Gettysburg Address Field — Soldiers National Cemetery
Gettysburg
Haunted Cemetery Moderate Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
Where Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address on November 19, 1863, over 3,500 Union soldiers are buried in concentric semicircles. Rangers and groundskeepers report seeing a tall figure in a black stovepipe hat and frock coat standing among the grave markers at dawn — then walking through the cemetery gate and vanishing. Soldiers in blue coats are seen kneeling at unmarked graves in the early morning. Visitors photographs consistently capture orbs clustering over the grave markers of unknown soldiers.
