Built in 1797 and used as a hospital during and after the battle, this landmark hotel has hosted Abraham Lincoln and is said to host several permanent ghostly residents. The most famous is the spirit of a woman in 19th-century dress seen near the ballroom. Staff report lights turning on and off, objects moving overnight, and unexplained footsteps on the upper floors.
