History & Paranormal Activity
Opened in 1893 and modeled on the Villa Medici in Rome, the Hotel Colorado has hosted multiple U.S. Presidents and the ghost of a chambermaid who fell — or was thrown — from the hotel's fountain courtyard in the 1890s. The 'Lady in White' appears in guest photographs in the courtyard and on the grand staircase. The hotel's Devereux Room, used as a military hospital during WWII, generates EVPs of wounded men calling for medics that investigators document on every overnight session.
