Haunted Cemetery High Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
Established in 1821 for Protestant victims of yellow fever epidemics, this small cemetery just outside the old city gates is considered the most haunted spot in America's oldest city. The ghost of a young girl who died of fever sits atop the gate pillars and watches passersby. A judge who was buried alive after falling into a fever coma is said to still pace the grounds in agony. Tour guides report orbs appearing in photographs even on moonless nights.
