LaLaurie Mansion
New Orleans
Haunted Building Extreme Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
Madame Delphine LaLaurie's 1831 mansion became infamous when a fire in 1834 revealed enslaved people chained in the attic in a torture chamber. The screaming heard from the house during the fire, the chains, and the medical experiments practiced there make it one of the most disturbing haunted sites in America. Apparitions of tortured figures are reported throughout the building.
