History & Paranormal Activity
Le Griffon was the first full-sized sailing ship on the Great Lakes, launched in 1679 by French explorer René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle. It vanished on its maiden return voyage — the first ship lost on the Great Lakes. No wreckage has ever been conclusively identified despite over 340 years of searching. The oldest unsolved mystery on the Great Lakes.
