The world's longest known cave system (over 400 miles) has been inhabited for 4,000 years. Tuberculosis patients were brought here to die in the 1840s, and guides have documented apparitions of patients in period dress, mysterious lights deep in unmapped passages, and a recurring entity called 'the Snowball Man' in one of the main chambers.
