Menominee River Burial Mounds

Along the Menominee River in the western UP, for more than 3 miles along the river bank, hundreds of ancient burial mounds, ceremonial dance circles, and extremely rare raised garden beds can be found. One of the most significant concentrations of Native American sacred sites in Michigan.
