The primary hotspot for modern Dogman sightings. A truck driver had a notable encounter here. The creature is said to have stalked the Manistee River area since the Odawa tribes lived there. In 1987, WTCM-FM DJ Steve Cook in Traverse City recorded 'The Legend' as an April Fools' joke but received over 100 genuine reports in response.
