Oregon Vortex / House of Mystery
Gold Hill
Mysterious Phenomenon High Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
The Oregon Vortex is a zone of strange spatial phenomena first documented by geologist John Lister in 1920 — objects roll uphill, people appear taller or shorter depending on position, and compasses behave erratically. Native Klamath people called the area the 'Forbidden Ground' and refused to enter it. Scientific explanations remain contested despite decades of study.

🔒 Classified Field Investigation Notes
Lister's original research notebooks from 1920–1930, donated to Southern Oregon University, contain measurements that show significantly larger anomalies than anything in his published papers — the unpublished data was withheld at the suggestion of a university physicist whose reasoning was never recorded.
