This 1914 French Renaissance château belonged to newspaper magnate Henry Pittock. His ghost and that of his wife Georgiana are reported throughout — Henry near his study, Georgiana in the Rose Room. Staff consistently report the smell of roses in rooms where no flowers are present, furniture found in positions inconsistent with how staff left it overnight, and doors that lock and unlock without keys.
