River Raisin National Battlefield Park
Monroe, Monroe County — Southeast Michigan
Battlefield High Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
In January 1813, hundreds of Americans died in the Battle of the River Raisin — the deadliest conflict of the War of 1812 in Michigan. Paranormal teams have used the 'Singapore Theory' with period objects and music to encourage apparitions. Figures in doorways and windows have been photographed, and sounds of war and cries of agony recorded. Now a National Battlefield Park.
