History & Paranormal Activity
The site of the 1804 Battle of Sitka — the last major armed conflict between Russian colonizers and Tlingit warriors — is now a rainforest park where totem poles mark the killing ground. Tlingit people report that the spirits of warriors who died here have never left, and visitors document an oppressive presence in the forest interior, voices in what linguists have confirmed is Tlingit language, and apparitions near the Russian Blockhouse.
