Stull Cemetery
Stull
Haunted Cemetery Extreme Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
A small abandoned cemetery outside Lawrence that is considered one of the seven gateways to hell — a legend taken seriously enough that Pope John Paul II reportedly ordered his papal plane to fly around Kansas rather than over Stull during a 1993 US visit. The church ruins are associated with devil worship, impossible shadows, and a staircase to hell that appears and vanishes.
