Summerwind Mansion

This remote Northwoods mansion burned in 1988 but was for decades Wisconsin's most haunted location. Owner Robert Lamont reportedly encountered a ghost in 1916 and fired two shots into the basement door. A later owner found a skeleton stuffed behind a false wall. His daughter described an entity she called the 'original owner' who appeared regularly to all family members.
