History & Paranormal Activity
Saginaw's 1927 Masonic Temple and theatre complex is one of Michigan's most ornate historic buildings — and one of its most haunted. A stagehand who died in the fly loft during a production in the 1940s is felt as a presence in the upper reaches of the stage. Performers have reported props moved between rehearsal and performance, lights triggered without switches being touched, and the sound of applause in an empty house after a dress rehearsal. A woman in 1920s dress has been seen in the balcony seats on multiple occasions by janitorial staff.
