Since the 1980s, multiple credible witnesses including a nurse, a newspaper reporter, and several motorists have reported a large wolf-like creature walking on two legs along Bray Road near Elkhorn. The creature is described as 5-6 feet tall, muscular, with canine features and intelligent eyes. Journalist Linda Godfrey documented over a dozen independent accounts.
