The Northern State Hospital Ruins
Sedro-Woolley
Asylum / Hospital Extreme Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
Washington's largest psychiatric institution (1912–1973) housed over 2,700 patients at its peak, with untold deaths from lobotomies, experimental treatments, and institutional neglect. The remaining farm buildings and ruins on the property produce the most consistent paranormal activity in the Pacific Northwest — investigators document mass EVP sessions, apparitions in the fields, and physical disturbances in the old surgery wing.
