Thornewood Castle

This 1911 Tudor Gothic castle was built by Chester Thorne who had the stones of a 500-year-old English manor shipped and reassembled on American soil. The ghost of Anna Thorne — Chester's wife — is reported throughout the grounds, and the sunken garden is associated with a woman in Victorian dress who walks the paths at dusk and vanishes at the gate.
