Asylum / Hospital Extreme Activity
History & Paranormal Activity
The largest hand-cut stone building in the Western Hemisphere held over 2,400 patients at peak capacity in conditions of severe overcrowding and abuse. Civil War soldiers also died here when it was used as a fort. Investigators consistently document some of the most active paranormal phenomena in the US — full-body apparitions, shadow figures, child voices, and violent entity encounters in the Civil War wing.
