Travis Walton Abduction Site

On November 5, 1975, logger Travis Walton and six co-workers encountered a hovering disc-shaped object in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest on the Mogollon Rim. When Walton approached the craft, a beam of light shot him 20 feet through the air. His crew fled in terror; Walton was missing for five days. All seven men passed polygraph examinations, and Walton's detailed account of his time aboard the craft has remained consistent for 50 years. The site is accessible off Forest Road 300 and remains an active UFO investigation destination.
